I’ve been involved with Bardowl for a long time. And we finally released an app into the iOS App Store this summer. This was a version of Bardowl with exclusively “business books.” This meant a slight re-branding was required to differentiate from the standard Bardowl. And we needed a new site that was designed to appeal more to the users, rather than the publishers as with the previous version of our site.
I worked really hard on the responsiveness of the site as we knew that there’d be a lot of visitors on iOS devices, particularly iPads. With the iPad 2 coming out with a retina display, I also had to build in support for retina graphics. This is my favourite version of the site to date.
