Since WordPress has added brilliant content management systems, such as custom post type and custom taxonomy, we’ve needed icons to use to represent our new content in the WordPress admin. I started out by creating a few icons for a personal project but then started creating more icons for clients. These are a challenge as you have to represent so much in such a small space. I also wanted to keep them looking native to the WordPress admin, using a style that fitted in with the existing icons.
